Background

The Directorate of Academic Affairs is one of the Directorates under the Office of the Registrar of the University of Cape Coast. In accordance with Statute 32 of the Statutes of the University of Cape Coast (Statutes 2016), the Directorate is responsible for the implementation of academic policies and management of academic programmes of the University. It serves and advises Management, the Academic Board, Faculty, Directorates, Colleges, and the University Community on all academic issues of the University. It governs and regulates the activities of seven (7) Sections/Offices to serve  the academic needs of Students, Staff, Faculty, and all Stakeholders, the Directorate governs and regulates the activities of seven (7) Sections/Offices. It is headed by a Director who shall be responsible to the Registrar. The clientele of the Directorate includes; Students, Staff, Faculty Members, the University Community, and all stakeholders.
